The product meet European quality standards for temperature and sound proofing

Section

Complying with the German Industrial Association standards, DIN 68 121/IV68. The outer frame is 80/66 mm. Leaves made out of wood with profile 80/66mm. The wood is painted with specified water base paint. Aluminium rails are used to protect the wood from rain and water. These stripes of aluminium are covered from both sides with plastic covers to prevent water and air leakage. There are three laminated layers of compressed Meranti wood. The refilling of the wood laminated is Profile 86 x 72mm.

Insulating double glass sealed by silicon on both sides, we offer the most up to date and the highest grade of glass. The sound absorption is up to the third degree {35 decibel} according to the German Industrial Association standards DIN. 68 121/ IV 68.

The Paints are imported from a Belgian company that is according to the international standards. The wood is painted with three layers with special water based paints. Our paint is waterborne paint for the priming of windows and doors. The first layer (filler) is used I to treat the wood and protect it from infects and bugs. The second layer (basic), in this phase is used to paint the wood with filling colour to fill all the holes and protect the wood from water leaking. The final layer (colour), in this phase is used to paint the wood which gives the wood the designed colour according to the customer need.

Our Roto and Siegenia hardware systems are made out of steel for highly stressed hinges with quality. Holztec’s line of hardware which is forged, hammered, mulled and finished with International German standards, is available in various shapes and colours to satisfy all customer’s needs.

The silicon used is particularly suitable for the sealing of windows, connecting joints and other movement joints. It offers long term, good adhesion to most non porous surfaces such as coated or glazed wood, glass and glazed surfaces. It is available in a wide range of colours.

The rubber used is the all-rounder amongst the sealing profiles. It guarantees optimum sealing tightness and there are stabilization lips that strengthen the position. Moreover, it has an optimum head width that provides a greater tolerance range. It also has a hollow chamber lip profile for clearly visible deflection recovery of the seal, in addition to the fact that it is environmentally friendly.

Burglar Proof

All Holztec windows and window doors are made from solid wood and secured by 5 point locking system which makes it very hard to penetrate, in addition to the two laminated glass panes inserted in the windows.

Dust Proof

The windows are completely sealed and fitted exactly on your wall which leaves absolutely no chance for any gaps to occur between the wall and the outer frames. The windows are fitted on the wall using foam. There is also rubber and hardware insulation between the leaves and the outer frame.

High Sealing

The windows are completely sealed which allows the room temperature to stay the same, the windows do not leak any air which means it saves energy and lowers cost.
